C.I.F. (Cost, Insurance, and Freight)
Seller's Responsibilities:
- Cost: The seller covers the cost of the goods.
- Insurance: The seller arranges and pays for insurance to cover the goods during transit up to the port of destination.
- Freight: The seller pays for the shipping and freight charges to transport the goods to the buyer's port of destination.
- Export Duties and Clearance: The seller handles all export customs clearance and fees.
Buyer's Responsibilities:
- Risk Beyond the Port of Destination in Guam: The buyer assumes the risk of loss or damage once the goods arrive at the port of destination in Guam
- Import Duties and Clearance: The buyer is responsible for import customs clearance and any associated fees in Guam.
- Inland Transport: The buyer arranges and pays for the transportation of the goods from the port of destination to their final location in Guam
